Authentic Happiness
Can Indeed Be Yours!

Is there such a thing as authentic happiness? You wouldn’t think so in the world today, as you look around at people defining happiness as having material wealth and "stuff," and defining unhappiness as losing material wealth and "stuff."

What Is the Meaning of Life?

You might say, well, if the meaning of life is not in having or losing "stuff," then it must be in having or losing people, or good relationships. That is getting somewhat closer to true joy, but it’s not what I’m referring to here.

**When you are happy for a reason you are held hostage to that reason!**

No matter how pure and sincere it seems to you, when you are happy for a reason, you are held hostage to that reason. Life changes, situations change constantly, people drop in and out of your life sometimes, and those who you can somewhat depend on to be around have changes in their lives and behavior that invariably affect you.

Conscious & Subconscious Expectations

Our own expectations and desire to control situations and people are sometimes blatant and sometimes subconsciously beneath the surface. The shifting landscape of people and situations is more like sand shifting beneath you than like a concrete foundation.

to make your dreams come true.

You Are the Answer

So, what can you depend on, and what can bring authentic happiness? And once you have it, how can you keep it? The answer is in you, and only you.

I cannot say this often enough: your experience and quality of life is completely dependent on what you focus on, what you pay attention to. I have proven this to myself and to my clients, over and over again.

If I Can Do It, You Can Do It!

Years ago, as I struggled to let go of anti-depressants (which I’d been on and off of for my whole life), I began an experiment. I’ve been off of them for almost 3 years now, and I’ve never been mentally and emotionally healthier than I am today.

This is truly amazing when you take into account my family history which includes my mother dying in a mental hospital! But I am keenly aware that I must be vigilant in watching what is happening in my mind, if I want to stay happy and healthy.

Others Tell You It's Up To You, But I Tell You How To Do It!

Now that I have the tools and have cultivated and developed the skills required, it’s relatively easy to do so.

But it took training, practice, and learning from my mistakes in order to find authentic happiness.

And you can have it, too! I’d be happy to show you the way. Check out Hidden Emotions Which Prevent Authentic Happiness
